Have you ever had a discussion about kindness with others? The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation asked teenagers to define it. "Love is kindness," one teen said.

Kirk Franklin's song "I Smile" offers encouragement. "It's so hard to look up when you've been down. Sure would hate to see you give up now. You look so much better when you smile, so smile."

Kid President offered some great advice in his pep talk for heroes. "You're more than your problems, and you're more than your mistakes," he said. "Somewhere inside, you're a hero."

Jacqueline Norvell founded Brown Bag Lady, which has provided nutrition, free haircuts, and toiletries to thousands of homeless individuals. "We have to come together as a people. We cannot ignore this issue," she said.
