Former US professional soccer star and 2002 World Cup semi-finalist, Tony Sanneh, started The Sanneh Foundation to empower youth in the Twin Cities metro area and abroad through education initiatives, community-building programs, and soccer camps.
We toured the foundation’s home base in St. Paul, MN, spoke with young staff, and were inspired by their commitment and loyalty to their various initiatives. Their work has both a measurable and immeasurable impact on countless individuals and broader communities.
Their mission transcends the cynicism, mudslinging, and empty virtue signaling that characterizes our current social moment.
